The Errand turns an ordinary task into something emotionally significant. What drew you to exploring the weight behind everyday decisions?

The Errand explores the hardest decision our lead character ever had to make. The task is ordinary but that does not mean the decision behind it was small. Oftentimes the hardest things in life often start or end with a simple step: making that phone call, going to that event, or in the case of The Errand, mailing those papers.

What interested you in exploring the gap between knowing what to do and actually doing it?
