We are excited to invite you to Coffeehouse Cinema’s first-ever test screening, presented in partnership with La Femme Lens and Kyndred Studios.

For this special event, we will screen an upcoming short film from Tari Wariebi, the filmmaker behind We Were Meant To, which screened during Coffeehouse Cinema Vol. 2.

Tari is a phenomenal filmmaker whose work we are proud to champion. You can learn more about Tari and his work through our Coffeehouse Features interview.

This event came together through Chris Lauer and Kyndred Studios. Ellis also works with Kyndred as its President of Emerging Talent. Kyndred wanted to support a Coffeehouse Cinema event while creating an opportunity to showcase and invest in emerging filmmakers.

We are also thrilled to partner with La Femme Lens, which has been a tremendous advocate and supporter of Coffeehouse Cinema. La Femme Lens is providing the screening room for the evening and will also be serving drinks during the social hour.

The event will include a screening of Tari Wariebi’s upcoming short film, an opportunity to provide written feedback, verbal feedback, and a social hour for attendees to meet, connect, enjoy drinks, and continue the conversation.

This event is completely FREE

We will also be giving away a select number of complimentary tickets to Coffeehouse Cinema Vol. 8 on Friday 8/28. If you have been looking for an opportunity to support us and attend an upcoming Coffeehouse Cinema event, this is your chance to join us for free.
