We are excited to see you this Thursday night and to welcome you into the first Coffeehouse Cinema. We are incredibly grateful for the response so far. We sold out in just four days after opening ticket sales, and we want to thank everyone who has already shown support for Coffeehouse Cinema.
We hope you will join us as we usher in a new way to experience movies, one that is intimate, communal, and rooted in conversation. This night is about more than just watching films. It is about being in the room together, sharing stories, and staying when the lights come up.
Limited Tickets Available at the Door
We will be offering very limited tickets at the door for our first Coffeehouse Cinema screening. If you are still planning to come, we recommend arriving early. We will try to seat as many people as we can.
Location:
File Systems of Coffee
6051 Melrose Ave
Los Angeles, CA 90038
What the Night Will Look Like
The evening will feature four short film screenings, followed by a Q and A with the filmmakers. After the discussion, we will transition into a social hour, where we will be serving coffee and charcuterie and opening the space for conversation between filmmakers and the audience.

Meet the Filmmakers of Our First Coffeehouse Cinema Screening
Every great screening starts with a story and a storyteller.
For our very first Coffeehouse Cinema, we are excited to introduce the filmmakers behind the films you will be watching. Each of them brings a distinct voice, background, and perspective to the work, and together they represent exactly why we wanted to create a space like this in the first place.
Matt Kazman - Donkey

Justin Fairweather - Roger J. Carter: Rebel Revolutionary

Alex Backes - That’s Our Time

Chris Cole - Terminally Ill

Thank you again to everyone who has supported Coffeehouse Cinema so far, whether you bought a ticket, shared a post, or simply showed interest in what we are building. We are excited to gather with you, watch these films together, and open up the conversation afterward.
If you are joining us on Thursday, we cannot wait to see you. And if you are just discovering Coffeehouse Cinema, this is only the beginning.
See you at the coffeehouse.
