We’re proud to introduce the filmmakers behind Vol. 5 of Coffeehouse Cinema.

With each screening, it’s become unquestionably clear: the response to Coffeehouse Cinema isn’t just growing, it’s felt. The excitement, the curiosity, the conversations before and after the films… it’s all undeniable. When we talk to people about what this is and what it represents, it resonates on a deeper level than we could have anticipated.

For our fifth consecutive screening, we sold out even FASTER than before. But what’s mattered even more is what’s happening around the screenings. People aren’t just attending. They’re getting involved. They’re staying long after the films. They’re bringing friends. They’re coming back to the Coffeehouse.

What started as a small idea is turning into something with real weight—something that lives beyond a single night. Coffeehouse Cinema is becoming a space where films are not just watched, but experienced collectively. Where discovery feels intentional. Where connection feels natural.

We’ve been building this across every touchpoint: through the newsletter, on Instagram, on TikTok, but the most meaningful part is still in the room. That energy, that shared experience, is what continues to drive everything forward.

And that momentum is something we feel—and carry—with a real sense of responsibility.

This is still early, but you can feel it now.

Limited Tickets Available at the Door

We will be offering very limited tickets at the door for our next Coffeehouse Cinema screening. If you are still planning to come, we recommend arriving early at 7:00p. We will try to seat as many people as we can.

Location:

Coffeehouse Cinema T-Shirts Available

We’re also excited to finally introduce Coffeehouse Cinema merch! Wooo!!

The merch is for people who believe in watching movies in unconventional spaces. It’s for builders. It’s for those who are excited about where cinema is going, not just where it’s been.

If you’re someone who believes in the future of movies, this is your t-shirt. You can purchase online HERE.

What the Night Will Look Like

The evening will feature three short film screenings, followed by a Q and A with the filmmakers. After the discussion, we will transition into a social hour, where we will be serving coffee and charcuterie and opening the space for conversation between filmmakers and the audience.

Introducing the Coffee Menu (or Films) for Coffeehouse Cinema Vol. 5

Meet the Filmmakers for Coffeehouse Cinema Vol. 5

We’re proud to introduce the filmmakers behind Vol. 5 of Coffeehouse Cinema. These artists represent a new wave of emerging voices—filmmakers making deliberate choices with a clear point of view in every frame.

That level of intention matters.

This volume explores the quiet tension of identity; how difficult it can be to express who you are, and how meaningful it is to be met with understanding when you do. In Cuming Out, Miss, and Written By, moments of conversation become moments of relief. A friend listens. Someone stays. The weight of isolation softens through connection.

We’re coming in with a goal of creating a space where these films can exist in conversation with one another. When curated with care, something meaningful begins to take shape. Shared emotions are felt, themes interlink these stories, and a deeper understanding between filmmaker and audience is created.

That’s what makes this experience singular.

It’s not just about watching films. It’s about sitting with them and seeing parts of ourselves in them.

Vol. 5 is another step in that direction.

Jasmine J. Johnson - Cuming Out

Alexandra Stergiou - Miss

Even though Alexandra can’t join us, we’re excited to welcome lead actresses and writers Jessica Uhler and Sophie Delaney to speak with our audience about the film.

Chris + Callie - Written By

Thank you again to everyone who has supported Coffeehouse Cinema so far, whether you bought a ticket, shared a post, or simply showed interest in what we are building. We are excited to gather with you, watch these films together, and open up the conversation afterward.

If you are joining us on Friday, we cannot wait to see you. And if you are just discovering Coffeehouse Cinema, there is more to come.

See you at the Coffeehouse.
