We’re proud to introduce the filmmakers behind Volume 2 of Coffeehouse Cinema.

For the second consecutive screening, we sold out in less than a week. Again.

The continued support, both online and in person, has meant everything to us. We have been building intentionally through our newsletter, on Instagram, on TikTok, and face to face. Marketing is difficult. Engaging marketing is even harder. We are grateful that people are resonating with what we are building, and we are committed to getting better every time.

This is only the beginning.

Soon, our Substack will expand into more thought leader driven posts around filmmaking, distribution, and community. Check out our guest post with here about alternatives to theatrical distribution! We will also begin publishing post screening Q&As with our filmmakers so the conversation continues beyond the event itself.

We will be offering very limited tickets at the door for our next Coffeehouse Cinema screening. If you are still planning to come, we recommend arriving early at 6:30p. We will try to seat as many people as we can.

What the Night Will Look Like

The evening will feature three short film screenings, followed by a Q and A with the filmmakers. After the discussion, we will transition into a social hour, where we will be serving coffee and charcuterie and opening the space for conversation between filmmakers and the audience.

With every edition of Coffeehouse Cinema, we set out to curate more than a lineup. We curate a conversation.

We are excited to introduce the filmmakers behind our second screening. Each brings a distinct voice, background, and perspective to their work. Together, their films create something larger than any one story alone.

At our first Coffeehouse Cinema, audiences raved not only about the quality of the films, but about how seamlessly they connected. Themes surfaced organically. Moments echoed across stories. Even the filmmakers and audience members discovered layers of resonance we could not have predicted.

That is what happens when strong films are placed in dialogue with one another.

We are proud to present a new group of storytellers for Volume 2 and to continue building a space where short films are not just screened, but experienced.
